This topic explains how to use the knowledge base editor to create and edit custom knowledge bases and controls. It also explains how to make copies of knowledge bases and controls in the system (including those provided by Modulo), which is useful for when you want to change specific knowledge base and control properties for a new project. Aside from the properties of a knowledge base, its controls, control/requirement mappings, and associated surveys can be copied. In addition to the properties of the knowledge base, you can also copy its controls, any mappings the controls may have with requirements from authoritative documents, and any associated surveys.
