A perimeter is a physical or logical boundary in the organization created to better arrange assets within the organizational structure.
You can structure your perimeters as specifically as necessary: by department, by geographic area, by business function, or by any other criteria. What’s important is that the structure be clear in its portrayal of the organization.
Once a perimeter is created, you can create sub-perimeters within it. The maximum number of sub-perimeters is 100, in which the first level corresponds to the perimeter created immediately beneath the organization.
