This section provides orientation on managing projects through the Organization module.
Organizational projects collect information that can be used to automatically update the properties and attributes of business components and assets. The information is collected through interviews that are generated from generic surveys created in the Surveys section of the Knowledge module. Object rules can be defined while creating the survey to indicate which object fields must be updated and the values that must be used, according to the answers provided by interviewees.
When a project is created, one or more business components or assets are added to the scope, and a survey and an interview are associated with them. The interviewees receive a notification about new interviews through the Home module or through an e-mail and can then access, answer, and send them. Interviewees do not have to be system users, but they must be registered as people in the People section of this module and have a valid e-mail address. Note that, for the e-mail notifications to be sent, the message service must be configured and the message templates used to send e-mail notifications related to interviews must be enabled in the Message Templates section of the Administration module.
Once answered, the collected information will be used to update the properties of the objects included in the scope of the project, according to the object rules defined in the generic surveys that were used to generate interviews.
