This topic provides a brief step-by-step guide to creating and editing perspectives for intelligence reports. It is intended for advanced users who are familiar with certain operations in the system.
Note that before perspectives can be created, you must first extend the data model for this solution. For details, see Chapter 16: Intelligence -> Extending the Intelligence Data Model.
A perspective defines which tables and fields from the data model for this solution will be accessible in the reports for which it is selected. Each report uses only one perspective, which can be changed if necessary.
Modulo provides three out-of-the-box perspectives for use in default reports, which can also be selected for custom reports. In addition, a global perspective is provided, which grants access to all tables.
