In this section, you can register events into a loss database that record losses incurred due to incidents. For example, if a water pipe is located above the room where servers are kept, there is the risk that leakages may occur. The values of the losses from such incidents can then be registered through loss events. These events, sorted by type, will have a name, a person responsible for it, and a date on which the loss should be considered.
Loss events can be registered and edited through the system interface of offline, through a spreadsheet, and then imported back to the system.
Custom types of loss events can be created in the Object Types section of the Administration module. In the Objects and Attributes section, attributes can be created for events and applied to one or more event types. Note that the order defined for loss event attributes affects not only the interface, but also the default column order in the list and the order of the fields in the spreadsheet.
