Minimum Requirements and System Compatibility

The browser recommended for Modulo Risk Manager is Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11. For Risk Manager, the required and minimum resolution is 1440x900 PX. The latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are also supported. In addition, because certain features in the Integration module require integrations with third-party software, full compatibility between these features and the browsers supported by the system is not guaranteed. To ensure browser compatibility with the system, Microsoft Internet Explorer should not be used in compatibility mode with another browser version, even if the version is compatible with Modulo Risk Manager.

Microsoft Office 2013 (or higher) is recommended for optimal performance, including Microsoft Excel 2013 (or higher) for exporting and importing spreadsheets available in the system. Microsoft Excel 2010 may be used, although the column and line limitations should be taken into account in order to avoid problems.

This version of the system was tested using the Qualys scanner version 8.4.4-1. The system also supports the latest versions of Qualys. The following services were also tested: Novell eDirectory 8.7 SP7, Microsoft Active Directory 2012 (integration and LDAP authentication), and Microsoft ADFS 2.0 (federated authentication based on the SAML standard). Note that this is the list of the versions of the scanners and services tested in the system and not minimum requirements, as the system may support higher or lower versions of them.

The minimum requirements for the system itself are listed in the Installation Guide, which can be obtained by getting in touch with the Support team.

Keep in mind that the layout in some of the screens shown in this manual may be slightly rearranged depending on your system configurations. For compatibility reasons, this manual may refer to features that have already been discontinued or are still present in only a few specific Risk Manager modules (on-demand). That is, the text may contain references to modules and features that are not available in all environments. If you have any questions, please contact product@modulo.com.
