People and groups of people inherit the permissions granted for profiles in which they were included. A person (or group) can be included in several profiles simultaneously. In this case, they will cumulatively inherit the permissions granted to all the profiles in which they were included. Let us look at the following example:
Privilege 1 |
Privilege 2 |
Privilege 3 |
Privilege 4 | |
Profile 1 |
Undefined |
Allowed |

Profile 2 |

Profile 3 |

In the table above, if a person or group of people is included only in Profile 2 in the example, they will have access granted to Privilege 1, 2, and 3, but not to Privilege 4. On the other hand, if a person or group of people is simultaneously included in Profile 2 and 3, they will have inherit permissions to Privilege 1, 2, 3, and 4, since both Profile 2 and 3 have permission to Privilege 1, 2, and 3, and Profile 3 has permission to Privilege 4.
