How to View an Event through the Workflow App (iOS)

This topic provides information on how to view events from the Workflow module through the Workflow app. Keep in mind that the user accessing the app must be included in the Workflow Module Users access profile in order to gain access to the module.

 

1.    From your mobile device, open the Workflow app.

2.    Enter the credentials used to access the system in the Username and Password fields, then tap Enter (see figure below).

 

 

The app loads the initial page.

 

3.    Tap Events to select an event from the list (see figure below).

 

 

4.    Tap USR to order the list by each event's score or select Last Update to list events in order of most recent updates (see figure below).

 

 

5.    To filter the list by a specific event type, tap the filter icon (see figure below).

 

 

6.    In the pop-up window that appears, tap the Type field, select the type of event you want to filter the list of events by, and tap Filter.

7.    To filter the list by only open events, select the Show only open events option. If you want to quit the operation, tap Cancel.

 

The app displays the list of events with the filter configurations selected.

 

8.    To clear the filters, tap Filter () again.

9.    In the pop-up window that appears, tap the Type field, and select the All event types option.

10. Tap Filter. If you want to quit the operation, tap Cancel.

11. In the search field, enter keywords to filter the list, which can be the event's name, a portion of its description, or the name of an asset associated with it. The search will include all events to which you have access in the Workflow module (see figure below).

 

 

 

12. Tap the name of an event to view it.

 

The app displays the event selected.

 

13. In the Description tab, you can view the description of the event (see figure below).

 

 

 

14. In the Details tab, you can view different properties of the event. The event can also be viewed on a map if a location was specified for it (see figure below).

 

 

 

15. In the History tab, you can view the history of the event as well as any attachments. To refresh the history with the latest entries, drag the screen downwards and release it (see figure below).

 

 

 

16. The Comments tab is used to filter the event's history so that only comments entered in the event's progress are displayed (see figure below). To refresh the list with the most recent comments, drag the screen downwards and release it.

 

 

 

17. In the Attachments tab, you can view the list of files attached to the event as well as open them as long as the format is supported by the iPad/iPhone – for example, JPG, TXT, PDF, etc. To refresh the list of attachments, drag the screen downwards and release it (see figure below).

 

 

 

18. In the Associations tab, you can view the assets and events associated with the event (see figure below).

 

 

 

19. To view the list of associated child events, tap Events at the bottom of the page.

20. If you want to view a child event, tap it to be displayed.

21. To view the latest information on the event, tap Options and then tap Reload Event (see figure below).

 

 

 

22. To view information on the version of the application, tap Info in the upper right corner and then tap About (see figure below).

 

 

The app displays a window with information on its version (see figure below).

 

 

23. To authenticate with a different user account, tap Info and then tap Sign out to return to the login page (see figure below).

 

 

24. In the pop-up that appears, tap Yes to confirm. If you want to quit the operation, tap No (see figure below).
