How to Move an Object in the Organizational Structure

This topic explains how to use the Assets section from the Organization module to move perimeters and assets within the organizational structure. Assets may be moved between perimeters and perimeters may become sub-perimeters.

1.    Access the Organization module.

2.    Select Manage Assets from the Assets option on the menu.

3.    In the Assets section, click the object you want to move and, while holding the left button of the mouse down, drag it to its destination until the system indicates that the operation is possible () (see figure below).

The system requests confirmation to move the object selected (see figure below).

4.    Click Move to confirm. If you want to quit the operation, click Cancel.

Note: Perimeters and assets can also be moved in the organizational structure through the Cut and Paste options from the Actions menu. They can also be duplicated through the Copy and Paste options (see figure below). The available options in the Actions menu change dynamically according to the object selected.
