How to Manage a System Access Account

1.    Access the Administration module.

2.    Select Manage Users from the Access Control option on the menu.

3.    In the Manage Users section, click Edit next to the person whose account you want to edit.

 

The system loads an area where the properties can be edited (see figure below).

 

 

4.    Make the necessary changes and click Save. If you want to quit the operation, click Cancel.

 

The system displays a success message.

 

5.    If necessary, you can block accounts so users will not have access to the system until their accounts are unblocked. To do this, mark the checkboxes next to the people with the accounts you want to block and click Block Accounts (see figure below). Only accounts with a defined username can be blocked. Keep in mind that users cannot block their own access accounts.

 

 

The system requests confirmation to block the accounts (see figure below).

 

 

 

6.    Click Block Accounts to confirm. If you want to quit the operation, click Cancel.

 

The system displays a success message.

 

7.    To unblock a user account, click Edit next to the person whose account you want to unblock, uncheck the Block account access checkbox, and then click Save.

 

The system displays a success message.
