How to Delete a CPE Name

1.    Access the Knowledge module.

2.    Select CPEs from the Risk Knowledge option on the menu.

3.    In the Common Platform Enumeration (CPE) section, click Delete next to the CPE Name you want to delete (see figure below). Note that you cannot delete names that have been associated with a knowledge base that has been published or is being edited.

The system requests confirmation of the deletion.

4.    To confirm deletion, click Delete Common Platform Enumeration (CPE) (see figure below). If you want to quit the operation, click Cancel.

The system displays a success message.
