Format
masks indicate how a field should be completed to ensure that information
entered in the fields is standardized. Some masks may be culture dependent,
specifying a date or currency format (MM/dd/yyyy or DD/mm/yyyy; $0.00 or
C$0,00). Others may specify a range of acceptable values for the field
(<0..100> specifies that only values between 0 and 100 will be accepted).
Format masks can be used in Text questions in surveys (see figure below).
