Breaking Changes

This section lists the changes that may impact the compatibility between the API and different versions of the system. For compatibility reasons, this manual may refer to features that have already been discontinued or are still present in only a few specific Risk Manager modules (on-demand). That is, the text may contain references to modules and features that are not available in all environments. If you have any questions, please contact product@modulo.com.

In version 8.0 of the API, the process for creating business components was modified and the name of the "Type" field was changed to "Level".

In version 8.4 of the API, the IDs used in Workflow queries were changed to GUID.

Since version 9.0 of the API, users' access tokens can be revoked, allowing them to end their system sessions via the API.

Since version 9.1 of the API, assets and perimeters can be deleted through the API. In addition, files in Attachment attributes for events from the Workflow module can be imported and deleted via the API.

Since version 9.2 of the API, assets and perimeters can be moved within the organizational structure through the API. In addition, the API checks if custom attributes are required, however, for the validation to occur, at least one attribute must be included in the call.

Since version 9.3 of the API, assets can be filtered by their custom attributes and, when listing the details of a Formula attribute, its output format is also returned. Additionally, custom access profiles are also returned with the data on the current user's profiles, and a few fields for enterprise risks from the ERM solution were renamed.

Since version 9.5 of the API, profiles can be managed through the API. This allows users to create, edit, and delete profiles, in addition to grant and revoke privileges and assign people and groups to a profile. This version also comes with features to list privileges and generate custom records in the audit log.

Since version 9.6 of the API, the results and details of ERM queries can be viewed. This version also includes features for listing KRIs and viewing the association between ERM objects, such as the controls associated with an enterprise risk and the loss events monitored by a KRI.

In version 9.7 of the API, a note was included about custom attributes for events created through the API.

Since version 9.9 of the API, a person's picture can be managed, which includes the ability to view, edit, and delete a picture. This release also allows users to register a vulnerability in the vulnerability catalogue and create one or more vulnerability occurrences through the API. In addition, this version supports features to view information on access control queries.
